Welcome to Talent on View
Home - Overview of functions
This is the main Talent on View page. From here you will be able to access all functionality through the database within two clicks. The same format of the application is kept throughout the application.
- 1) This is the database of your candidate videos.
- 2) This is your database of clients. These are the clients that you want to send your candidate(s) video to.
- 3) This where you can search by name for your candidates (either by First Name or Surname).
- 4) This is where you can search by name for your clients (either by First Name or Surname).
- 5) This is where you bring together your candidate(s) and client(s) by dragging and dropping into the desired boxes.
Add Candidate - Step One
Before you start this section please make sure your webcam is connected to your computer.
- 1) The button brings up the fields to add a new candidate.
- 2) You need to fill in the First Name and Surname in order to proceed to the next stage (Step 2).
- 3) This is where you can upload the candidate's still image.
- 4) This button is here so that you can upload your document such as a CV or covering letter in a PDF or Word format.
- 5) Click next to proceed to Step 2.
Add Candidate - Step Two
- 1) This is the area where you will record. Your persons face should be centred in the middle of the screen.
- 2) When you are ready to record you interview/video – click 'Record' to start – this will start recording as soon as you have clicked the button.
- 3) When you have finished the recording press stop and then allow a few moments for the video to be 'buffered' . You are then view the video by clicking 'Play', if you are happy with this video, click 'Save'.
- 4) This is where you can click back to the details and also check on the document by clicking to open.
- 5) When you are happy with the details on this candidate click 'Upload video'. Your candidate will then be accessible in the candidate database.
Add/Edit Client
- 1) Adds a new client - and opens the fields above to add a new client.
- 2) The required fields are Company Name, First Name, Surname and Email address. Please make sure you have entered the correct email address. Enter the ZIP/Postcode and click 'Address finder' to auto-fill the address fields.
- 3) Click 'Save' to add to the client database.
Send Candidates to Client
This is where you can drag and drop your candidate(s) (max 3) into the boxes marked and then drag and drop a client into the one designate box. Once there is a least one Candidate in the box and the required client is in the box the system is activated so you will be able to send the video(s).
- 1) Candidates dragged and dropped into the boxes
- 2) You are only allowed to drag and drop one client into this box at a time.
- 3) Click 'Send Video' button and this will open a pop up a box which will allow you to insert a subject and a message that will be sent to your client along with an encrypted link to view the candidate(s).
Candidate History
- 1) Roll over a candidate's business card for the Edit, Delete and View History buttons to appear. When you click on the 'View History' button the middle section will pop up.
- 2) The top area of the business card shows where that candidate has been sent to and by whom - also displays the time and date of when they have been sent.
- 3) The second part of the business card shows the feedback given from the client for that candidate.
Client History
- 1) Roll over a client's business card for the Edit, Delete and View History buttons to appear. When you click on the 'View History' button the middle section will pop up.

- 3) The second part of the business card shows that client's feedback about each candidate.
What your client email looks like
- 1) A branded email with your company's logos on will be sent to your client every time you send a video through the application.
- 2) This first paragraph is taken from the pop-up comments box you fill in when you send your videos.
- 3) This text gives your client an overview of your company – this is static text which and can only be changed by the Administrator of your account.
- 4) The still images are displayed – once your client clicks on them they will be taken to your branded webpage where they can view the video(s).
Where your clients watch your candidate(s)
- 1) Click on the faces to view the interview.
- 2) Once you have clicked on the small icon the video will be displayed here. It will buffer (download) for the first 8 seconds and then it will start to play. You are able to Play or Pause and alter the volume on this video player.
- 3) This icon will either be a word document or a PDF document. Click on the icon to open.
- 4) This is where feedback can be given about each candidate.
- 5) After feedback has been filled in, clicking this button will submit the information back to the sender, via email, and the information will also be logged back onto the system.
